For me - Classics π Classic sets donβt leave you any room for imperfections. Here are some mistakes that set you apart from creating a perfect Classic Set of lashes:
β β
β If one of the extensions was placed in a wrong direction, your client will see it right away.
β β
β If one of the lashes was missed, there will be a βgapβ.
β β
β If lash layers were mixed up, there will be an annoying lash striking out from the set.

β β
π draw direction lines on the patch, this way it is easier to follow the right way
β β
π always start both eyes at the same place - if I started from inner on the right, I will do inner on the left as well.
β β
π position clients head so you can see where the natural lash is growing from, this way you wonβt miss any lash layers or skip lashes
β β
π choose good materials. Classics will show if the lashes you chose are stiff or donβt hold the curl, so spend a bit more, but get something that you can trust
β β
π for fuller looking sets, use Flat (Matte) Lashes - they are lighter than regulars and have split tip

P.S. For my classic sets I choose to work with lashes in 0.12 and 0.15 thickness. For Sets looking "a la naturelle" - I chose to work with Mayfair Mink in 0.12 or Chelsea Silk in 0.15Β Β . When it comes for creating a dramatic look I stick to Matte Flat Lashes in 0.15 - they create an appearance of a fuller or even thicker looking lash line, due to the split tip. But keep in mind, they are very soft and can easily change curl if exposed to high heat (ex. opening oven while cooking and baking)
